Big News!
There have been some fast changes in our lives recently. Last Friday I was offered a part-time position at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. I accepted and turned in my resignation at my current job yesterday. I will be the dietitian at the skilled nursing facility at EAMC. I am SO EXCITED to be able to spend more time with Noah! Since Will works out of Opelika as well, we will be moving there as soon as we can sell our house here in LaGrange. Please keep your fingers crossed as it is a tough market for sellers right now. My last day here will be August 7th and I'll start my new job on August 10th. Between now and then we will be trying to sell our house and I will have to find Noah a daycare in Opelika/Auburn. It has been a challenge to find a daycare that will do part-time for infants. I found one but it is on the other side of Auburn. I'm so particular about daycare and I really don't want to pay full-time when he will only be there part-time. Anyways, that is what is going on in our lives. We also have a busy weekend ahead. We will be going to Cullman for my cousin's wedding on Friday night, heading to Enterprise after the wedding on Saturday night, and then going to the beach Sunday morning. Lots of traveling but lots of fun:)

Back From The Beach
Well, Noah's first beach trip was fun but way too short. We had a beautiful day on Saturday. Noah went swimmming in the pool and then sat on the beach for a while. It was really hot but there was a good breeze by the water so he didn't get too warm. Of course I had him slathered with sunscreen, with a hat, under an umbrella:) Here are some pictures of the trip.

Bouncer and Beach
This weekend Noah got his first bouncer thing... the entertainer where he can push off the floor with his feet. I put the thing together because Daddy doesn't like to follow instructions. I only made one minor mistake that Daddy had to fix. We put Noah in it and his tiny little tip toes barely touched the ground. But he liked it and he played with the little gadgets for a while. In a couple of weeks he will definitely be tall enough to push off the ground which is what he loves to do. He never wants to sit or lay like a baby...he wants to stand up like a big boy. So now, with his new toy, he can! In other news, we are headed to the beach this weekend. I almost killed myself packing last night. We have all the usual baby stuff along with beach gear. We will actually be spending the night at my parents' house in Enterprise tonight, since it will be so late, and heading to Destin tomorrow. We will be there with Nonna and PawPaw Rigsby, Uncle Josh, and Aunt Shelly. Poor little Sadie Mae will be staying in Enterprise with her grandparents. We will also be going back to SanDestin in a couple of weeks with my parents. Yay for summer! I will definitely post some beach pictures as soon as we get home. Happy 4th of July!

First Blog
I have just started our blog. I have no idea what I'm doing because I am not a blogger. Just an update on our life...Will and I have been married for 4 years. In March we had a baby boy named Noah. He is the most wonderful thing that God has ever created. I have no idea why I was chosen to care for him...I definitely do not deserve that honor! But I love him so much!!! We also have a pomeranian named Sadie Mae. She is such a little mamma's girl. We had a lot of trouble with jealousy when we brought Noah home from the hospital but we are doing okay now. This past weekend Sadie actually tried to protect Noah when she thought that my Dad was trying to hurt him. It was so sweet. I am a registered dietitian working in a hospital in Valley, Alabama. Will works for a concrete company doing quality control. We live in LaGrange, Georgia and bought a new house last year that we absolutely love. Well that's it for now. Hopefully I will figure out how to work this blog stuff soon:)
